A Bit About Me
My name is Jose Ramon Leal Gonzalez. I am currently a Foreign Language (Spanish/French) and Driver Education teacher at Winthrop College Preparatory Academy.
I have a degree in Land Surveying and Civil Engineering and a Master in Civil Engineering (Highway and road Geometrical Design).
I am a trilingual (Spanish/French/English) teacher with more than 35 years of classroom experience. I have taught at secondary and University levels in different countries and cultures such as Cuba, Ethiopia, France, and USA.

My Philosophy
I believe that learning to drive needs to happen in a calm environment. Everyone is different, so each of my lessons are customized to best fit individual student needs and learn style. Every student can succeed. Students will excel when they know they can try anything without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed. I teach stress-free driving lessons and create a fun learning environment. My teaching method is based on positive reinforcement and feedback techniques, with constant encouragement and personal attention.
My mission is to help student to gain confidence in their new abilities to become safe drivers on our busy roads and highways.
Instruction can be provided in English, Spanish, or French.

4 SESSIONS
6 Hours Total
Our four-session packages are appropriate for any driver skill level but are best suited to those with some in-car driving experience–around the neighborhood, parking lots, and more.
Basic Behind-the-Wheel Package – $500

Our six-session packages are appropriate for people with little- to-no driving experience, or who want to lower their nervousness while behind the wheel.
